Safety Measures.

All the children are 'signed in' at the beginning of a creche. If the venue is holding more than one event, the parents can be given coloured wristbands which must be produced in order to gain entry and collect their children. We can also use a password system, again the word/phrase has to be given to gain entry. These procedures ensure that only permitted adults are within the room, and collecting children.

The ratio of staff to children depends on their ages. We use the Ofsted/ Government guidelines when staffing each booking.

Each venue is visited by the director prior to a creche to assess the safety requirements. If stairgates, socket covers, window stickers are needed they will be provided on the day.

Staffing.

Staff working for Safe and Sound are professionally childcare qualified. They are police checked and vastly experienced. One member of staff at each creche has first aid knowledge.
